Captured data is
delivered to CDP's Data Center where various edit checks, data validation,
and database management functions are performed. Our Data Center provides
application design and development as well as statistical and analytical
reports.
CDP processes
over 5 million transactions daily for a wide variety of corporate
customers. Our programming staff boasts expertise in COBOL,
Oracle, Visual Basic and EZC among others, and are ready to address our clients' most complex database
management, on-line access, and data reporting needs.
Our powerful complement
of systems include the latest generation IBM mainframe, a 140 gigabyte
DASD system, and numerous high speed tape and cartridge drives all running
on MVS/ESA system software. We are also supported by an array of COMPAQ
and Hewlett Packard servers. Our Data Center is networked to remote
CDP facilities and client sites via dedicated and multiplexed T1 lines,
ISDN, and frame relay connections.
We are fully supported
in the event of a disaster via regularly scheduled nightly and weekly
data backups, and through the redundancy built in to our network of
multiple locations.
